Lifeguard Training
Lifeguard Training
For ages 15 years old and up on or during the class. Learn all the skills required for being a lifeguard. Classes must be completed, and none may be missed. This class has an online component and will be a blended learning course. Before the first class, participants will be responsible for viewing 10 hours of online instruction and videos through the Red Cross website (available only through Internet Explorer). Students will be certified for 3 years upon successful completion of rescue skills test, a CPR skills test, and a written test. Students with valid certificates can apply for open positions at area pools. If you successfully passed the Junior Lifeguarding course, you may qualify for a full scholarship for this course.
